Welcome to my Free Kelly country Tour information Page
I am offering “FREE “ ONE or TWO DAY guided tours to show you most of the
historic locations in Kelly country Victoria, And they have now been extended to
include a ONE day tour to Jerilderie Nsw, This Free offer is for a limited time
please read conditions at link below.
http://www.kellycountry2000.com/conditions.htm
ONE DAY TOURS
The Free offer with the one day tour is simular to the two day tour, except we just
drive all day and see what we can see in one day,
With the one day tour to Jerilderie, approx 680 Km's, we travel there and return the same day.
One day tour to Stringybark creek we visit Mansfield,
SBC, and Powers Lookout
TWO DAY TOUR to Kelly country Victoria, approx 850 Km
You will see most of the significant historical sites and locations of where
The Kelly gang story took place, here is a small map of some of the locations we
visit.

Please read the following Carefully.
I am happy to drive your car if you don't know the area, This
is a whirlwind tour, most stops will be only to take a picture or two, and we
must travel at least as fast as the speed limit, where safe , Or you will run
out of Daylight to complete the first day's site seeing, what we don't see on
the 1st day will have to be completed early next day.
So what’s the catch you ask ? how can it be "Free "?
Well that’s easy, I do not charge you any Fees for the guided tour, BUT
“Everything” is at YOUR own expense, fuel, All accommodation, food etc.
We travel in your car, and I try and stay at Tanswells Hotel, at
Beechworth, your choice of
accommodation is up to you, How could you beat this for a great offer ??
MY PREFERENCE is to do this tour is during the week, because Beechworth
can get very busy during the weekend and accommodation in Town can be hard
to book, however most weekend's
are OK, we just need to check on the date when you want to travel
Cheers KC2000

TESTIMONIALS
Hi ya Bruce,
If you don't mind I'll throw my two bob in
For those of you thinking of travelling to the NE to visit Kelly country I would
strongly recommend to take up Bruce's offer. Bruce's knowledge of Kelly country
is too good to knock back. Both Bruce & Tim in the early days showed me
around sbc & Powers Lookout and most recently Bruce showed me around the
police caves and of course a guided tour of the B/worth Museum & WOW I would
have never have managed to locate the caves on my own, THANKS AGAIN BRUCE.
I must be honest when I speak of Bruce, he has a gentle nature & has a
wealth of Knowledge when it comes to all things Kelly. Bruce talks you thru
every detail of interest with a little bit of extra to keep you even more
excited so if you're thinking about..... think no more and take up the offer its
a trip well worth its weight in gold.
JOE D
Hi All,
can thoroughly recommend the tour after having spent the last few days with
Bruce seeing the sites in the North East. Informative historical info aside,
Bruce was great company and it was a real pleasure to spend a few days tracking
down Ned and the gang.
Now looking forward to the wine tour!
regards
Marcus
Geez Bruce, this all sounds most familiar !!!
Goes to prove you can start at Beveridge and end up in the Woolshed all in 1
long 14 hour day and some 900 km's later !
A trip most should try & do before the weather makes it impossible !
Tim.
I was lucky enough to have Bruce take me on his 2 day tour of the Kelly
Country while I was down from Sydney to experience some Commonwealth Games
Magic. It turned out that the highlight of my holiday was all to do with Ned !
Bruce was so knowledgeable on Ned, his haunts, Victorian history, Eureka, Gold
Rush, Museums, the roads to take, what lane to get in !!, where to take the
perfect photo etc etc that he made those 2 days both memorable and enjoyable.
Thanks Bruce and like others who have "posted" under this thread I can
recommend this tour to any keen Ned fan.
Bruce was also kind enough to show this Sydneyite the Ned sites of Melbourne
city and Ballarat not to mention that rogue Fitzpatrick's grave .
Bruce was really good company and he also gave me some copies of some CD's he
had cut on the Police Caves and other places that we did not have time to
visit.. or possibly stamina to get there !!.
Thanks Bruce for your time with me and also the Forum which has been a great
educator for me and no doubt many other Ned fans. Of course a special thanks to
Sharon ("Yankbird") for telling me about it and supplying me with many
Ned "crumbs" that she appears to find !!
Michael
Once again a huge thx Bruce
Bruce you never cease to amaze me. Your knowledge of all things Kelly.... mate
I'm lost for words
The tours of Box hill, Melb, & Ballarat Cemetery's was amazing you made it
fun & easy as you zig zaged thru the cemetery's LOL I was lost @ the start @
the Burke & Wills plague.
I appreciate the manner in which you conduct the tours, very relaxed,
informative & as always with that little bit of extra to top of tour TOP
STUFF BUDDY
Hey Bruce what's next
Joe.D
Hello Bruce,
Thanks for a good trip. It was a lot of fun and I have learnt heaps.
Thanks
Regards,
Katrina
Greetings Bruce and others,
Our Ned Kelly trip has been the best two days that we have spent in our quest to learn about the Kelly story, Travelling through the North East where the boys actually where is such a thrill, even walking through the cemetery at night was amazing, and the kids panned some gold (with a bit of help)
If anybody is interested in Australian history this is the only way to travel, and all for free, the kids are bursting to go again, anybody can read a road map, but all the hidden extra's that we would have passed by, made it so much better.
